Principal’s Welcome

I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you and your family to Mary Queen of Ireland NS.

In Mary Queen of Ireland NS, we believe every person is a valued member of our happy, vibrant learning community. ‘At the heart of the community’ is our motto and community spirit is central to what we do here at Mary Queen of Ireland NS. Our school strives to provide a caring, happy and secure atmosphere where the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral, social and cultural needs of the pupils are identified and addressed.

We hope to foster a love of learning and a yearning for knowledge amongst our students. We wish to ensure that all children are healthy, happy and safe, so that they may learn as much as they can during their time spent with us. In partnership with parents, the board of management and school staff, we work to develop well-educated, confident, balanced young people who are outward-looking and able to meet the challenges of life with common sense, integrity and resilience.
